Standard Bank Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Transactional Banking to drive client relationship growth, maximize cross-selling revenues, and enhance client profitability through Transaction Banking solutions. The role focuses on growing the Business and Commercial Banking deposit base and transactional business by providing solutions across the client cashflow cycle, including cross-border payments, collections, and payment solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for Domestic and Cross-Border Payments businesses.
- Drive revenue growth through product development, commercialization strategies, and enhanced customer solutions.
- Conduct competitor analysis, market segmentation, and customer analysis to support business growth.
- Recommend improvements and enhancements to payment and collection product capabilities.
- Develop marketing plans, pricing strategies, and process improvement initiatives.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders including Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Operations, IT, and management committees.
- Provide input into client data and business requirements to support solution and process design.
- Ensure customer-focused delivery of transaction banking solutions and digital banking services.
- Support development and implementation of innovative payment and cash management solutions.
- Utilize data insights and analytics to improve business performance and customer experience.
- Drive strategic initiatives aligned with the Business Banking agenda.
Job Requirements
Education
- First Degree in Business Commerce or related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in general banking products and processes.
- Experience in data mining and forecasting.
- Experience working with customer experience solutioning and digital design principles.
- Experience with UI/CI and UX/CX design principles.
- Experience in Agile and SAFe methodologies.
- Experience in dashboard development, data sourcing, and report development.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Transaction Banking products and services.
- Knowledge of payments, collections, and cashflow management solutions.
- Understanding of risk management and economic capital management principles.
- Knowledge of customer-centric banking solutions and digital banking trends.
