To support its continued expansion in Tanzania, Jubilee Life Insurance is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Force Unit Manager to join its team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of insurance sales agents, driving sales performance, expanding the customer base, and ensuring the achievement of business growth objectives through effective leadership, coaching, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and achieve assigned sales and business growth targets
  • Recruit, develop, and build a high-performing insurance sales team
  • Train, coach, mentor, and motivate insurance agents to achieve their performance goals
  • Monitor individual and team productivity and implement improvement strategies where necessary
  • Develop and execute sales plans to increase market penetration and revenue generation
  • Expand the company’s customer base through prospecting and business development initiatives
  • Support agents in identifying new business opportunities and closing sales
  • Promote Jubilee Life Insurance products and services to prospective and existing clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions
  • Monitor sales activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and submit sales performance reports and market feedback to management
  • Identify training needs and facilitate continuous professional development for team members
  • Encourage a customer-focused culture that delivers excellent service and client satisfaction
  • Assist in the implementation of sales campaigns, promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure achievement of recruitment, retention, and productivity targets within the sales unit
  • Support the organization’s strategic objectives through effective leadership and teamwork

Qualification Required:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
  • Experience in sales, insurance, financial services, or business development is preferred
  • One to three years of relevant experience will be an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Proven ability to recruit, motivate, and manage sales personnel
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital communication tools
