The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join its vibrant international learning community. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality instruction across the primary years while fostering students’ academic, social, and emotional development within the Cambridge Curriculum framework.
Responsibilities:
- Teach within the Cambridge Curriculum framework
- Deliver high-quality lessons that promote academic achievement and holistic student development
- Teach all primary school subjects as required by the curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate student records and assessment data
- Support student wellbeing and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs
- Teach across several key stages during the first year of employment as required by the school
Qualification Required:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience in an international school environment
- Ability to teach all primary school subjects effectively
- Willingness and flexibility to teach across multiple key stages
- Specialization in Art, Music, or Drama is preferred
- Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is an added advantage
- Strong commitment to student learning and development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Adaptability and flexibility within an international school setting
- Passion for education and creating meaningful learning experiences
