Mkulazi Holding Company Limited (MHCL) is inviting qualified Tanzanians to apply for the position of Operator – Vacuum Filter. The successful candidates will report to the Supervisor – Juice Clarification and Evaporation and will be responsible for supporting vacuum filter operations within the sugar production process to ensure efficient juice clarification and smooth plant operations.

The role involves hands-on operation and maintenance support of vacuum filtration equipment, ensuring proper handling of mud separation processes, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and production standards within the factory environment.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Scraping mud from vacuum filters during operation
• Cleaning mud belt conveyors to ensure continuous operation
• Preparing milk of lime for use in processing
• Opening and closing mud bin hoppers during charging to mud tractors
• Checking bagacillo louvers for proper functioning
• Maintaining good housekeeping, safety, and health standards at the workplace
• Performing any other lawful duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and requirements:

• Form Four (IV) certificate or NTA Level II qualification
• Minimum of three (3) years working experience in vacuum filter operations
• Practical knowledge of vacuum filtration processes in industrial or sugar production environments
• Ability to work in physically demanding and industrial conditions
• Strong adherence to safety and operational procedures
