High End Controller
Job Description

Based in Dar es Salaam, the role is responsible for managing high-value customer accounts, driving sales growth, strengthening brand presence, and delivering outstanding customer service across premium trade channels.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, manage account performance, and ensure excellent in-outlet execution. This position requires strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to achieve sales targets while maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular customer visits according to an independent call schedule.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities for business expansion.
- Prospect new outlets and update customer call schedules accordingly.
- Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Coordinate logistics and delivery activities to ensure timely product availability.
- Review customer accounts monthly to ensure products are adequately stocked and properly displayed.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
- Manage customer invoicing, account administration, and credit control.
- Accurately complete company documentation, including invoices, sales reports, and return statements.
- Develop customized account plans to increase sales based on customer and consumer needs.
- Ensure effective execution of merchandising and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer management, staff, buyers, and key stakeholders.
- Provide dedicated customer service and support field sales operations.
- Resolve customer issues promptly within the assigned geographical area.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or retail management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and account management.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Dynamic, sociable, and customer-oriented personality.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good self-management and organizational abilities.
- High level of initiative, independence, and proactiveness.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
