SimplePay Capital Limited is seeking a Credit Administration Officer to support its lending and compliance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client documentation, loan administration, collections support, records management, and administrative processes while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage borrower and investor documentation, including verification of National IDs, TIN certificates, proof of address, and other supporting documents
  • Prepare and administer loan documentation, including Letters of Offer, Loan Agreements, Personal Guarantees, and Corporate Guarantees for borrowers and investors
  • Liaise with solicitors and legal advisors throughout the documentation process and support legal reviews and document finalization
  • Create and maintain accurate borrower and investor account statements
  • Support collection activities for outstanding accounts, including conducting collection follow-up calls where necessary
  • Document daily collection activities and maintain accurate records of collection outcomes
  • Investigate account disputes, billing discrepancies, and respond to internal and external credit inquiries
  • Assist in identifying delinquent accounts requiring follow-up or recovery action
  • Perform account reconciliations, payment reconciliations, and verify financial records and balances
  • Prepare, file, retrieve, and maintain withholding tax statements and supporting tax documentation
  • Assist the Operations Manager in identifying delinquent accounts for external recovery and monitoring potential bad debts and financial exposure risks
  • Create, organize, maintain, and update physical files and digital records accurately
  • Label, categorize, and store documents according to approved filing procedures
  • Gather, classify, and code records from various sources
  • Perform administrative support duties, including printing, photocopying, emailing, and delivering documents
  • Archive inactive files and dispose of obsolete records in accordance with approved retention policies
  • Conduct regular file audits and retrieve documents upon request
  • Implement authorized filing system changes while ensuring compliance with document retention procedures
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications Required

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in administration, accounts support, finance support, or a related role
  • Experience in microfinance institutions, banking, lending operations, or credit administration is an added advantage
  • Strong document preparation and administrative support skills
  • Ability to prepare accurate, professional, and well-organized records
  • Experience managing both digital and physical filing systems
  • Knowledge of account reconciliation and payment reconciliation processes
  • Records management and document control skills
  • Experience supporting collections activities is an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of lending documentation and credit administration processes
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Resilience and professionalism during collections and dispute resolution processes
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to quality standards and continuous improvement
