The Bar Supervisor role within the Food & Beverage department is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring high-quality beverage service. Responsibilities
The Bar Supervisor is responsible for managing bar operations to ensure efficient service delivery, product quality, and compliance with hygiene standards. The role also involves supervising staff, controlling stock, and maintaining a professional and customer-focused bar environment.

• Supervise bar staff and oversee daily bar operations
• Ensure quality and consistency in drink preparation and beverage service
• Manage bar inventory, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hospitality service standards
• Train and guide bar staff on service procedures and customer care
• Monitor customer satisfaction and handle guest feedback professionally
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and coordinating workload during peak hours
• Monitor sales and support cost control measures to maximize profitability
• Ensure proper storage and handling of beverages and bar supplies

Qualification

• Relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or professional qualification in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Service, Tourism, or related field
• Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a reputable hotel, lodge, restaurant, or bar environment
• Previous supervisory experience in bar or beverage service will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and beverage service procedures
• Fluency in English language communication
• Knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage
• Computer literacy and familiarity with bar or POS systems will be an advantage
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
