Westerwelle Startup Haus Arusha is part of the global Westerwelle Foundation, which was founded in 2013 by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Guido Westerwelle and entrepreneur Ralph Dommermuth. At its core the Westerwelle Foundation aims at creating opportunities for young people in emerging countries and strengthening local entrepreneurship ecosystems.
