Sihotech Engineering Company Limited is looking to hire an Environmental and Social Expert to support projects in Dodoma and other locations within Tanzania and Eastern Africa.
Position: Environmental and Social Expert
Location: Dodoma and other project locations in Tanzania and Eastern Africa
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), conducting inspections, managing stakeholder engagement, and handling grievance mechanisms for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP)
- Conduct environmental and social inspections
- Manage stakeholder engagement activities
- Handle grievance mechanisms and reporting processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Social Sciences, or related field
- Registered Professional with a valid practicing license
- Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental and social management
- Experience with World Bank, AfDB, or other donor safeguard standards
