Key Responsibilities
The Regional Dispatcher will oversee dispatch operations, fleet coordination, and delivery performance across the assigned region. Key duties include:
Dispatch Planning and Execution
- Manage daily and weekly dispatch plans aligned with outbound demand
- Build optimized vehicle loads and assign delivery routes
- Cluster deliveries by territory to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure all dispatch documentation and staging are completed before vehicle departure
Delivery Documentation and Order Management
- Validate delivery documentation including notes, serial records, and site details
- Verify alignment between system records and physical shipments
- Capture real-time delivery updates using dispatch system tools
Fleet and Driver Management
- Conduct daily driver and vehicle readiness checks
- Monitor deliveries in real time using GPS and dispatch tracking systems
- Manage both internal drivers and third-party logistics partners
- Conduct end-of-day delivery reviews and documentation checks
3PL and Transport Partner Management
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) with logistics partners
- Ensure vehicle availability and transport capacity

Delivery Performance Monitoring
- Track Delivery In-Full On-Time (DIFOT) performance metrics

Freight Optimization
