The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of Mzumbe University (MU), wishes to inform all job applicants who applied for various positions that interviews are expected to be conducted from 19/02/2026 to 20/02/2026. Successful candidates will thereafter be assigned to duty stations. Candidates invited for the interview are required to observe the following instructions.

The interviews will be conducted on the dates indicated in this announcement, and the specific time and venue for each interview have been outlined according to each cadre. Every candidate is required to report to the interview venue wearing a face mask.

Each candidate must carry an identification document for verification purposes. Acceptable identification documents include a Resident Identity Card, Voter Identification Card, Employment Identity Card, Citizenship Identification Card, Passport, Driving License, or an introduction letter from the local Street or Village Government where the candidate resides.

Candidates are required to present their original certificates, starting from Birth Certificate, Form IV, Form VI, Certificate, Ordinary Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree and above, depending on the qualifications required for the respective position. Candidates who submit testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, or Form IV and Form VI result slips will not be accepted and will not be allowed to proceed with the interview.

For cadres that require registration with Professional Boards, candidates must present original registration certificates together with valid practicing licenses. Each candidate will be responsible for their own food, transport, and accommodation costs. In addition, candidates are required to attend the interview dressed in neat and decent attire in accordance with the official dress code circular.

Candidates who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities such as TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA. For cadres requiring a GPA, candidates who studied outside Tanzania must submit a GPA calculation certificate issued by TCU.

Applicants who do not see their names in this announcement are advised to log into their Ajira Portal accounts to view the reasons for not being shortlisted, so as not to miss future opportunities. All candidates invited for the interview must log into their accounts and copy their interview numbers. Candidates who conducted preliminary interviews online are reminded to remember the email addresses and passwords used in the Ajira Portal system.

Candidates whose names differ across their documents are required to present a registered Deed Poll for change of name issued by the Ministry of Lands.
