Responsibilities

• Conduct research, publications, and consultancy activities in the field of Psychology.
• Deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Assess and mark students’ coursework and examinations and submit results within the required timelines.
• Prepare teaching and learning materials for academic programmes.
• Supervise and guide students in research projects and academic assignments.
• Mentor and support junior academic staff on professional and academic matters.
• Participate in departmental, college, and institutional academic activities.
• Organize and participate in departmental, college, and public seminars.
• Contribute to community engagement and consultancy services.
• Report to the Head of Department or designated supervisor.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• PhD in Psychology or a relevant field.
• Master’s Degree in Psychology or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 at Bachelor’s degree level.
• Minimum GPA of 4.0 at Master’s degree level.
• Strong teaching, research, and academic writing skills.
• Ability to supervise students and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
