The company is currently inviting qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Senior Electrical Technician based in Bagamoyo. This opportunity is suitable for technically skilled professionals with extensive hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment repair within manufacturing environments.

The Senior Electrical Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth and safe industrial operations. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, handling electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting efficient operation of electrical infrastructure within the plant.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical issues using specialized tools and devices
• Assembling, installing, and wiring electrical components, control panels, lighting systems, and power systems based on technical diagrams and blueprints
• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems including switchgears, motors, and transformers
• Ensuring strict compliance with local and national electrical codes and workplace safety regulations
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records, equipment performance logs, and reports on completed work
• Repairing or replacing faulty wiring, damaged electrical components, and defective parts
• Performing any other duties assigned by management

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in electrical systems and practical industrial maintenance experience. Qualifications and Requirements include:

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or other related technical qualification
• Minimum of 6–7 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering or electrical maintenance roles
• Prior experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, motors, transformers, and switchgear maintenance
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintenance skills
• Ability to maintain technical reports and maintenance documentation accurately
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
