Job Description
The Junior Technical Officer will support technical operations across multiple engineering and operational functions.
The role provides practical exposure in mechanical engineering, electrical systems, quality assurance, operations management, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform production, processing, warehousing, dispatch, field work, equipment maintenance, and logistics tasks as assigned
- Monitor equipment performance and identify technical issues for corrective action
- Conduct routine maintenance including calibration, troubleshooting, and basic repairs under supervision
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety standards
- Participate in technical inspections and follow up on assigned action points
- Support installation, construction, and commissioning of new equipment and infrastructure
- Document maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and operational challenges
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, or any STEM-related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different technical and operational functions
- Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset
