Solution Architect at Ericsson

Ericsson is seeking a Solution Architect with hands-on experience in Communication Services, particularly CS Core and IMS, to join its team in Dar es Salaam. The role focuses on the end-to-end delivery and implementation of Ericsson Communication Services solutions while translating customer requirements and technology opportunities into effective technical solutions and proposals.

The successful candidate will work across technical and business teams to deploy and configure communication products, conduct system and acceptance testing, resolve technical delivery challenges, and maintain solution documentation. The position also requires staying current with emerging technologies and contributing to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and customer capability development.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Communication Services products.

  

• Prepare and execute system, module, and acceptance tests.

• Collaborate with business partners to identify improvements in delivery processes.

  

• Work with technical teams to resolve product delivery issues.

• Maintain and update solution documentation.

  

• Provide feedback to R&D teams on potential portfolio enhancements.

• Participate in knowledge transfer and information-sharing activities.

  

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry developments.

• Share solution insights to support customer competence building.

• Contribute to effective end-to-end delivery of Communication Services solutions.

• Support technical solution development and implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proven experience in delivering and implementing cloud infrastructure or software virtualization solutions.

• Knowledge of Ericsson CS Core Portfolio, including MSC-S, MGW, and CTC.

• Knowledge of IMS Portfolio, including MTAS, CSCF, SBC, MRF, DNS, and ENUM.

• Strong knowledge of Cloud and NFVI technologies.

• Additional programming skills are an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good business acumen and ability to work effectively across teams and professional networks.

• Ability to innovate and adapt to changing technology and business requirements.

• Results-oriented approach with strong planning and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage technical delivery activities and resolve complex implementation issues.

• Willingness to stay updated on new technologies and share technical knowledge.
