KCB Bank Tanzania is seeking an experienced DFS Manager – Digital Loans and Savings to lead the strategy, development, and growth of innovative digital lending and savings products. This role is ideal for a product management professional passionate about financial inclusion, digital banking, and customer-centric financial solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full product lifecycle, driving portfolio profitability, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering innovative digital financial services that meet the evolving needs of retail, SME, youth, women, and underserved customer segments.
Responsibilities

Define and execute the Bank’s digital loans and savings strategy.

Develop and maintain the product roadmap for digital lending and savings solutions.

Identify market opportunities and customer needs to drive product innovation.

Manage profitability, growth, and overall performance of the digital portfolio.

Lead the ideation, design, and development of customer-centric digital products.

Develop products including mobile loans, salary advances, nano-loans, SME digital credit, and ecosystem financing solutions.

Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to rollout and optimization.

Develop pricing strategies, customer value propositions, and go-to-market plans.

Monitor product utilization, customer engagement, and portfolio performance.

Collaborate with Risk, Credit, and Analytics teams on credit scoring and decision models.

Promote responsible lending and sustainable portfolio growth.

Develop digital savings products that encourage long-term savings behavior.

Enhance customer experience through journey mapping and UX/UI improvements.

Utilize customer insights and analytics to improve product performance.

Ensure seamless onboarding and servicing across digital platforms.

Establish strategic partnerships with fintechs, MNOs, credit bureaus, and technology providers.

Explore embedded finance opportunities and ecosystem lending initiatives.

Manage partner relationships, commercial agreements, and service-level arrangements.

Oversee UAT, pilot testing, quality assurance, and product release governance.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Professional qualification in Product Management.

Professional qualification in Project Management.
-
Professional qualification in AGILE Practices.

Minimum of 8 years of cumulative professional experience.

Master’s degree in a business-related field is an added advantage.
