Events Representative

AB InBev Africa is looking for a qualified and capable candidate to fill the position of Events Representative in Dar es Salaam. The role focuses on delivering brand-led consumer experiences and regional events that strengthen brand engagement, encourage consumer advocacy, and support growth in sales volume and market share.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales and brand teams while coordinating with event organizers, venue owners, communities, and third-party suppliers. This position requires strong planning, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple event activities effectively.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and report on experiential events and brand activations within the assigned region.
• Deliver engaging consumer experiences that strengthen brand narratives and encourage long-term brand advocacy.
• Plan and execute regional events led by sales teams in accordance with established execution guidelines.
• Support events designed to generate additional and profitable sales volume.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, particularly sales and brand teams.
• Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders such as stadium owners, event organizers, and local communities.
• Manage SAB beer account procedures, including FBIs, stock, and commercial deals.
• Collect and develop insights into consumer behaviour and engagement with AB InBev brands.
• Coordinate third-party event suppliers and other relevant stakeholders involved in event execution.
• Prepare accurate event reports and provide feedback on event performance and consumer engagement.
