Responsibilities

• Participate in daily activities relevant to the assigned position to gain practical work experience.
• Support the provision of national postal services within the United Republic of Tanzania.
• Contribute to activities aimed at meeting industrial, commercial, social, and household needs through comprehensive and efficient postal services.
• Assist in providing money remittance services, including money orders and postal orders, as required.
• Support counter services for Tanzania Posts Corporation and compatible government business.
• Participate in insurance, bancassurance, financial services, and field sales activities as assigned.
• Engage in digital and traditional sales-related assignments to gain practical business development experience.
• Participate in tasks and projects designed to facilitate skills development and acquisition of work experience.
• Contribute to activities undertaken as part of the one-year volunteering programme.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in insurance, bancassurance, financial services, or field sales.
• Proven experience or record in insurance sales.
• Digital sales experience will be an added advantage.
• Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing reliable postal address, email address, and telephone contacts.
• Certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
• Certified academic transcripts and birth certificate.
• Two guarantors who are Public Servants.
• Introduction letter from the Village or Street Executive Officer or relevant Local Government Authority.
• Copy of the National Identification Card (NIDA).
• Good conduct and acceptable moral character within the community.
• Must not have been previously employed by any Public Institution since graduation.
• Must be willing to volunteer for one year for skills development and work experience acquisition.
• Applicants whose position requires a specific GPA should attach a GPA Calculation Certificate issued by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
