Responsibilities

• Participate in daily activities related to the assigned position to gain practical work experience.
• Support the provision of national postal services within the United Republic of Tanzania.
• Contribute to activities that help meet industrial, commercial, social, and household needs through comprehensive and efficient postal services.
• Assist in providing money remittance services, including money orders and postal orders, where required.
• Support counter services for Tanzania Posts Corporation and compatible government business.
• Participate in tasks and projects designed to facilitate skills development and practical work experience.
• Contribute to transport and logistics-related activities as assigned during the volunteering programme.
• Take part in activities conducted under the one-year programme for skills development and work experience acquisition.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management, Logistics Management, Logistics and Transport Management, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing reliable postal address, email address, and telephone contacts.
• Certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
• Certified academic transcripts and birth certificate.
• Two guarantors who are Public Servants.
• Introduction letter from the Village or Street Executive Officer or the relevant Local Government Authority.
• Copy of the National Identification Card (NIDA).
• Good conduct and acceptable moral character within the community.
• Must not have been previously employed by any Public Institution since graduation.
• Must be willing to volunteer for one year to develop skills and gain practical work experience.
• Applicants whose position requires a specific GPA should attach a GPA Calculation Certificate issued by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
