This contract position involves providing technical leadership, coordinating stakeholders, strengthening partnerships, managing project implementation, and ensuring high-quality monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

The successful candidate will work closely with government institutions, community organizations, faith leaders, donors, and implementing partners to deliver sustainable livelihood, economic empowerment, WASH, and faith and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of livelihoods and resilience project activities.
• Develop annual project work plans and monitor progress against budgets and targets.
• Provide technical assistance to regional, district, and ministry stakeholders.
• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks where necessary.
• Integrate project interventions into ongoing Faith and Development and livelihood programs.
• Coordinate activities with implementing partners to maximize project impact.
• Develop and implement social and behavior change communication strategies.
• Ensure project models are implemented and documented with high quality.
• Chair and coordinate Project Steering Committee meetings with stakeholders.
• Prepare timely project reports and communications that meet donor and organizational standards.
• Monitor project indicators and support annual planning with M&E teams.
• Coordinate project launch, implementation, closure, and dissemination of monitoring findings.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and evaluation tracking tools.
• Coordinate preparation of donor narrative and financial reports.
• Document and share best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and research activities across the project.
• Prepare project information sheets, impact stories, videos, and communication materials.
• Maintain organized project files and reporting systems.
• Share evidence and lessons learned with partners and leadership.
• Develop and implement partner capacity-building plans.
• Conduct partner monitoring visits and annual performance reviews.
• Promote accountability, integrity, and high-performance teamwork.
• Provide technical support to project coordinators, managers, government staff, and consultants.
• Ensure zero tolerance for fraud and corruption.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure compliance with donor financial regulations.
• Manage project assets, materials, and financial resources responsibly.
• Build strong partnerships with government, NGOs, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Represent World Vision in meetings, workshops, and conferences.
• Facilitate documentation and knowledge sharing among project partners.
• Respond effectively to donor and organizational requests throughout project implementation.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong project management skills and understanding of the project management cycle.
• Experience in Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (DM&E).
• Excellent facilitation and community empowerment skills.
• Experience coordinating faith-based development initiatives.
• Spiritual maturity and alignment with Christian principles.
• Knowledge of advocacy issues affecting adolescents and youth.
• Experience implementing projects in livelihoods, WASH, faith and development, and economic empowerment.
• Experience working with children under five and women of reproductive age.
• Strong stakeholder coordination, reporting, and partnership management skills.
