The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) is seeking an experienced Entrepreneurship Incubator Program Director to establish and lead a new entrepreneurship incubator at its Community Learning Centre in Usa River, Arusha. This exciting leadership opportunity is designed for an entrepreneurial professional who is passionate about supporting founders, social enterprises, nonprofits, and job-creating businesses across Tanzania.

TFFT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to quality education and creating opportunities for young people and communities to thrive. Through this new incubator, the organization aims to remove barriers to entrepreneurship, strengthen sustainable businesses, and help create meaningful employment by connecting entrepreneurs with mentorship, markets, finance, and practical business support.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop the entrepreneurship incubator curriculum, coaching model, and participant journey.
• Recruit and select diverse entrepreneurs through a transparent application process.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching for participants.
• Build partnerships with mentors, guest experts, businesses, and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Create pathways to finance through banks, SACCOs, MFIs, investors, and grant funders.
• Guide participants through business registration and legal compliance in Tanzania, including BRELA, TRA, licensing, and NGO requirements.
• Connect ventures to customers, procurement opportunities, suppliers, and market networks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international entrepreneurship partners.
• Coordinate Launch Day events and alumni engagement activities.
• Manage programme budgets, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring.
• Ensure safeguarding, participant protection, confidentiality, and conflict-of-interest compliance.
• Support donor reporting, grant applications, annual reports, and programme impact documentation.
• Track measurable outcomes including registered businesses, jobs created, and gender-disaggregated impact.

Qualifications required:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in entrepreneurship, startups, business development, social enterprise, or nonprofit leadership.
• At least two years of hands-on operational responsibility for people, finances, or programme delivery.
• Direct experience founding, building, or leading a business, nonprofit, or social enterprise.
• Experience facilitating adult training, workshops, or entrepreneurship programmes.
• Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cash flow, and pricing.
• Practical knowledge of business registration and regulatory compliance in Tanzania.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swahili.
• Strong networking, stakeholder engagement, and partnership-building abilities.
• Ability to design programmes from concept through implementation and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to relocate to the Arusha region.
• Commitment to safeguarding and equitable access for women and young entrepreneurs.
