1. Medical Doctor (2 Positions)
Position Summary
The Medical Doctor will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients while ensuring the highest standards of medical care. The successful candidate will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and patient-centered treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with various medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Request, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and radiology investigations.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment when necessary.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care.
- Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
- Valid practicing license.
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous working experience will be an added advantage.
