Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking, Arusha

Mwanga Hakika Bank Limited (MHB), a fully fledged commercial bank owned by local Tanzanians, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven professional to join its team as a Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking at the Arusha Branch. The role is focused on managing corporate client relationships and developing banking business across loans, deposits and other financial solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the corporate banking portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, managing credit and compliance risks, and ensuring high-quality service to corporate customers. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in corporate banking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients.
• Understand clients’ financial requirements and recommend suitable banking solutions.
• Engage proactively with existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
• Drive growth in corporate loans and deposits.
• Support new client acquisition and cross-selling of banking products.
• Oversee credit risks within assigned client portfolios.
• Conduct KYC reviews and risk assessments during customer onboarding.
• Ensure timely responses to corporate client enquiries and service requests.
• Work closely with Relationship Officers to improve customer service and revenue generation.
• Prepare business development strategies and presentations for senior management.
• Identify new market opportunities and contribute to business growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, regulations and operational procedures.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with established risk criteria.
• Support proper account management and other banking operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking.
