Doris Mollel Foundation (DMF) is seeking experienced business development managers, specialists, and qualified firms to support resource mobilization, partnership development, and proposal and grant development. This contract opportunity is focused on identifying funding opportunities and converting them into sustainable partnerships and financial support within the non-profit and development sector.
The successful applicant will be expected to manage the full business development pipeline, from prospect research and opportunity identification to donor cultivation, proposal development, partnership building, and successful funding outcomes. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven record of mobilizing funds and developing productive relationships with donors, corporations, and institutions.
About the Role
The Business Development Manager will lead efforts to identify and secure funding opportunities for DMF. The role involves researching prospective donors and partners, developing compelling proposals and sponsorship packages, and building relationships that support the foundation’s long-term sustainability.
The position also requires strong donor stewardship and pipeline-management skills. The successful candidate should be able to turn potential opportunities into active relationships and ultimately successful funding partnerships.
Responsibilities

Lead resource-mobilization initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have:

At least 5 years of experience leading resource mobilization, partnership building, proposal development, and grant development.
