AB InBev Africa is seeking an experienced communications and brand professional to serve as Corporate Brand, Reputation & Comms Manager. The position is responsible for leading corporate brand communications across Greater African markets, including Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Ghana, and Nigeria.
The successful candidate will develop corporate brand strategies, manage public relations and digital communications, support executive communications, and strengthen relationships with government, communities, media, and other stakeholders. The role also has a strong sustainability communications component and requires frequent travel across the seven markets.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement brand strategies to strengthen the company’s image and increase brand awareness across the assigned markets.

Ensure corporate communications align with group brand guidelines.

Manage major corporate branding projects and initiatives.

Oversee the production of digital content, including photography, video, multimedia, and online copy.

Ensure compliance with company brand policies.

Develop corporate communication campaigns that build stakeholder understanding and support.

Lead brand strategies and plans that promote innovation, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.

Develop and implement integrated communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Create and manage content calendars for social media, websites, newsletters, and other digital channels.

Manage public relations activities and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

Provide communications support for corporate events.

Prepare speeches, presentations, press releases, and other corporate correspondence for executive management.

Lead media strategies and ensure effective execution across relevant media channels.

Prepare detailed campaign briefs for internal and external creative and communications teams.

Monitor audience engagement, communications trends, and campaign performance.

Analyse marketing and communications activities and provide detailed insights.

Engage with government stakeholders on public policy-related campaigns.

Work with community leaders and internal stakeholders to develop compelling corporate stories.

Collaborate with external content creators to engage digital audiences.

Drive implementation of the Sustainability Communications Country Plan.

Support sustainability projects and initiatives aimed at improving relevant sustainability performance indicators.

Coordinate communications activities across Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, and Nigeria.

Travel frequently across the seven markets as required.
Qualifications and Requirements

Honours degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Creative Arts, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications or brand management.

At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position.

Experience in digital communications, social media, and public relations.

Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics.

Knowledge of market research principles.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.

Strong project management and organizational abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
