Hodari Christian School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join its teaching team as a Math & Science Teacher for Lower Primary learners in Dar es Salaam. Math & Science Teacher Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering Mathematics and Science lessons for lower primary learners.

• Using the Cambridge Curriculum to guide lesson planning and delivery.

  

• Assessing student progress through assignments and other assessments.

• Providing constructive feedback to learners based on their performance.

  

• Creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment.

• Developing age-appropriate learning materials and classroom activities.

  

• Using creative teaching approaches to support young learners' understanding.

• Incorporating ICT and appropriate digital resources into teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A minimum of five years of teaching experience.

• A degree or diploma in Education or a related field.

• Competence in teaching using the Cambridge Curriculum.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Strong communication skills.

• Fluency in spoken English.

• Fluency in written English.

• Strong ICT skills.

• Experience using design tools such as Canva.
