Job Description

Hodari Christian School in Dar es Salaam is inviting applications from qualified and experienced educators for the position of Humanities Teacher (Upper Primary & Lower Secondary). Humanities Teacher Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering Humanities lessons for upper primary and lower secondary learners using the Cambridge Curriculum.

  • Providing constructive feedback to students to support their academic improvement.

  • Creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of teaching experience.

  • A degree or diploma in Education or a related field.

  • Competence in teaching using the Cambridge Curriculum.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Fluency in spoken English.

  • Fluency in written English.

  • Strong ICT skills.

  • Experience using design tools such as Canva.

  • An energetic approach to teaching.

  • A patient approach to teaching.
