Job Description

KCB is seeking a motivated and innovative professional for the position of Products & Innovation Supervisor. The role will support the development and implementation of Digital Financial Services (DFS) initiatives by contributing to innovation, product development, customer experience improvement and project coordination.

The successful candidate will work with product teams and other stakeholders to transform innovative ideas into practical products and services. The position is suitable for a professional with at least one year of experience who has an interest in digital products, innovation, Agile practices and customer-focused financial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in ideation workshops, innovation challenges, design-thinking sessions and brainstorming activities for DFS initiatives.

  • Support the development of innovative concepts and solution prototypes.

  • Coordinate innovation initiatives from concept development through pilot and implementation stages.

  • Support project planning, documentation and progress tracking.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders involved in innovation projects.

  • Support product teams in transforming innovation concepts into viable products and services.

  • Participate in product testing and pilot execution.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Collect and analyse customer feedback from product pilots and implementations.

  • Monitor product adoption and performance after implementation.

  • Support customer journey mapping initiatives.

  • Contribute to customer experience improvement initiatives.

  • Identify customer pain points and recommend innovative solutions.

  • Maintain records of the innovation pipeline.

  • Maintain project documentation and related records.

  • Support innovation campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Assist in maintaining innovation repositories.

  • Document best practices and lessons learned from innovation initiatives.

Qualifications Required

Applicants should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

  • Professional qualifications or training in Product Management, Project Management or Agile Practices will be an added advantage.

  • A Master's degree in a business-related field will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

Candidates should have:

  • At least 1 year of cumulative professional experience.

  • Exposure to product development, innovation, project coordination or digital financial services will be beneficial.

  • Experience participating in Agile, design-thinking or customer-centric product development activities will be an added advantage.
