What This Job Really Involves
This is a modern frontend engineering role, not simply a traditional web-design position.
Your main responsibility would be to build the part of an application that users actually see and interact with. This includes pages, forms, dashboards, navigation, interactive components, animations where appropriate, and responsive layouts.
However, the employer is looking for someone who can do much more than make interfaces look good. The emphasis on React, Next.js, TanStack, Remix, component-based design systems, automated testing, and performance indicates that the position involves serious frontend engineering and application architecture.
Core Technical Areas
React and Modern Frameworks
React is the foundation of the role, while Next.js, TanStack, and Remix are specifically mentioned. Candidates should understand component architecture, state management, routing, data fetching, rendering strategies, and reusable UI patterns.
UI Engineering
The phrase "pixel-perfect" means you should be able to translate designs accurately into working interfaces while maintaining responsiveness, accessibility, and usability.
Tailwind CSS and Design Systems
The employer expects familiarity with Tailwind CSS and component-based design systems. This means you should understand how to create reusable UI components rather than repeatedly building individual pages from scratch.
UX and Design Collaboration
You will work closely with UX designers, so understanding usability, responsive design, accessibility, information hierarchy, and design specifications is important. Figma or Adobe XD experience is therefore useful.
Frontend Testing
Automated testing is specifically required. A strong candidate should understand how to test components, user interactions, and application behaviour rather than relying entirely on manual testing.
DevOps
You should be familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing within development workflows. The expectation is that frontend engineers participate in the complete software-development lifecycle.
AI-Assisted Development
AI tools are explicitly part of this position. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude are mentioned as examples. The employer expects candidates to use these tools to improve development speed, component creation, debugging, and productivity while maintaining code quality.
Ideal Candidate
The strongest applicant would typically have:
-
Strong professional React experience.
-
Production experience with Next.js.
-
Practical knowledge of TanStack and Remix.
-
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
-
Excellent CSS and Tailwind CSS skills.
-
Experience creating reusable component libraries or design systems.
-
Good understanding of responsive and accessible UI development.
-
Figma or Adobe XD experience.
-
Strong frontend testing skills.
-
Git and CI/CD experience.
-
Agile/Scrum experience.
-
Experience using AI coding assistants.
-
Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization.
-
Ability to work effectively with UX, backend, and AI/ML teams.
-
Flutter experience as an additional advantage.

Final Thought
This vacancy is particularly suitable for a developer with strong React and modern frontend engineering experience who can combine visual accuracy with performance, accessibility, testing, and maintainable architecture. A strong CV should clearly demonstrate React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, component-based development, frontend testing, Git/CI/CD, UX collaboration, and AI-assisted development rather than simply listing general web-development skills.
