The Residence Zanzibar is looking for an Assistant IT Supervisor to support the hotel’s day-to-day information technology operations in Zanzibar. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for an IT professional who can provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and help maintain reliable and secure IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will assist with managing IT systems, networks, hardware, and software while supporting employees with technical issues. The role is suitable for candidates with practical IT support experience who can work independently, solve technical problems, and contribute to smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.

• Provide technical support to users and resolve IT-related problems.

  

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and other technical issues.

• Monitor IT equipment to ensure proper operation and availability.

• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and related activities.

• Support system security and help ensure IT systems remain protected.

• Assist with daily IT operations and provide timely technical assistance to employees.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.

• Good technical knowledge.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to provide effective user support.

• Ability to support daily IT operations.

• Good communication and teamwork skills would be beneficial.
