Tutorial Assistant (French Language Education) Jobs at University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM)

The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) is inviting applications for one Tutorial Assistant position in French Language Education. The successful candidate will support senior academic staff in teaching and academic activities while undertaking postgraduate training leading to a Master’s degree. Applicants must meet the specified degree and GPA requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understudy senior academic staff by attending lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.

• Conduct seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.

  

• Assist in research, consultancy, and public service activities.

• Undertake postgraduate training for a Master’s degree.

• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education in Arts, with French as a teaching subject.

• Bachelor of Arts with Education, with French as a teaching subject.

• Bachelor of Arts in Language Studies, majoring in French.

• Bachelor of Arts in French.

Additional academic requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree GPA of 3.8.

• Degree must be obtained from a local or internationally reputable university recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities.
