Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Understudying senior academic staff by attending lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.

  

• Conducting seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.

• Assisting in research, consultancy, and public service activities.

• Undertaking postgraduate training for a Master’s degree.

• Performing any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor of Education in Physical Education and Sports Sciences; or

• Bachelor of Science in Sports Sciences; or

• Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies; or

• Bachelor of Science in Education (Physics); or

• Bachelor of Science in Education (Biology); or

• Bachelor of Education in Science, majoring in Physics or Biology.

• A minimum Bachelor’s Degree GPA of 3.8.

• The degree must be obtained from a local or internationally reputable university recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).

Remuneration

Successful candidates will be employed under:

• Salary Scale: PUTS 1.1
