Position Overview

The Inventory and Procurement role focuses on managing stock control processes and ensuring accurate inventory reporting. Working closely with the Operations Supervisor, the role supports operational efficiency through timely reporting on stock levels, product expiry, and inventory movement.

The successful candidate will help maintain accurate records while ensuring that inventory processes comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves overseeing stock control systems and ensuring accurate documentation of inventory movements.

Inventory and Stock Control

  • Manage and record all stock movements through the ERP system
  • Validate goods receipts, bin allocation, and storage processes
  • Maintain records for batch numbers, expiry dates, and product vintage information
  • Enforce FIFO principles and proper storage standards

Inventory Monitoring and Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock status
  • Monitor short-expiry products and optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
  • Produce accurate inventory reports for financial and management reviews

Warehouse and Operations Coordination

  • Plan and conduct periodic and annual physical inventory counts
  • Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
  • Manage damaged or expired stock, including write-offs and destruction according to regulations

Compliance and Documentation

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for all inventory processes
  • Coordinate customs clearance for international shipments
  • Conduct reconciliations between ERP records and customs systems such as TANCIS

Supplier and Product Coordination
