Requirements
Applicants must hold a three-year relevant tertiary qualification in Labour Relations, BCom Law, or LLB.
A minimum of one year functional experience in Inspection and Enforcement Services is required.
A valid driver’s licence is compulsory.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will plan and independently conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA).
The role includes executing investigations independently on reported cases related to contraventions of labour legislation and enforcing corrective measures where necessary.
- The Inspector will plan and conduct proactive (blitz) inspections on a regular basis to monitor compliance with labour laws.
- The position also involves conducting advocacy campaigns on all labour legislation independently.
- Additional responsibilities include drafting and maintaining inspection plans and reports, as well as analysing and compiling consolidated statistical reports for allocated cases.
