Key Responsibilities
The Asset Finance Recovery Officer will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and controlling the assigned asset finance portfolio using company software.
- Proactively attending emergency cases, including night duties on assigned days.
- Identifying overdue clients and prioritizing collection assignments with the Recovery team.
- Proposing client handling and debt collection strategies to the Head of Asset Finance Recovery.
- Locating collateral using GPS tracking technology and engaging clients in the field.
- Persuading clients to comply with payment schedules and repossessing collateral if necessary.
- Maintaining accurate records and daily feedback on collection outcomes.
- Training and mentoring new employees, interns, and trainees.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the manager or Head of Department.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in recovery operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity, enthusiasm, and passion for continuous learning and development.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively with diverse teams.
- High attention to detail and internal control.
