UDSM Interview Notice for Shortlisted Applicants (September 2026)

The Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) wishes to inform all applicants who applied for the recently advertised positions that interviews will be conducted from 15 September 2026 to 18 September 2026. Successful candidates will be assigned to their respective duty stations after the interview process.

Interview Schedule

Important Instructions for Shortlisted Applicants

1. Attend the interview on the date, time, and venue specified for your position.
2. Wear a face mask throughout the interview process.
3. Bring a valid original identification document. Accepted IDs include:
   • National ID (NIDA)
   • Voter ID
   • Passport
   • Driving Licence
   • Employee/Work ID
   • Introduction letter from Mtaa/Village authorities
4. Bring all original academic certificates, including:
   • Birth Certificate
   • Form IV Certificate
   • Form VI Certificate (where applicable)
   • Certificate/Diploma
   • Advanced Diploma
   • Degree and other relevant qualifications
5. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, and Form IV/Form VI result slips will not be accepted.
6. Applicants in regulated professions must present their original professional registration certificate and a valid practising licence.
7. Every applicant is responsible for their own transport, accommodation, and meals, and must report in neat and decent attire.
8. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must present certificates verified by the relevant authority (TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA). Where a GPA is required, a TCU GPA Conversion Certificate must also be provided.
9. Applicants who were not shortlisted should log into their Ajira Portal accounts to view the reason for non-selection.
10. Shortlisted applicants must log into the Ajira Portal and save their interview number. Those attending online interviews should also remember the email address and password used on the portal.
11. Applicants whose names differ across official documents must present a registered Deed Poll for Change of Name issued through the Ministry of Lands.
12. UDSM reminds all applicants that giving or receiving bribes is strictly prohibited. Recruitment is conducted fairly, transparently, and strictly on merit.
