Job Overview

This full-time role focuses on pre-sales support, solution design, service management, and enterprise customer engagement. The position supports Airtel Business Africa Solutions by working closely with sales teams and customers to design, deliver, and manage high-quality enterprise connectivity and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Support

  • Provide pre-sales design support for fixed data networks, business mobility, and value-added solutions for new and existing customers
  • Support sales teams by positioning project management and service management offerings to enable deal progression and closure
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify potential customers and understand their business needs and challenges
  • Support connectivity gross additions and enterprise revenue growth through opportunity identification and development
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of Airtel Business products and solution portfolios, including:
    • Fixed data networks such as fiber, microwave, and satellite
    • Business mobility solutions for enterprise and wholesale customers
    • NaaS, SD-WAN, security, cloud, communication, and collaboration platforms
    • Service management solutions

SLA and Service Management

  • Act as project manager for assigned sales deals to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
  • Ensure agreed customer KPIs are consistently met
  • Hold service implementation and maintenance teams accountable for customer satisfaction
  • Maintain enterprise circuit databases with accurate technical and commercial information
  • Forecast enterprise orders by monitoring the sales pipeline and supporting demand planning
  • Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training

Customer Requirement Analysis

  • Ensure consistent delivery of quality services to meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets
  • Prepare professional presentations and product demonstrations that clearly communicate Airtel solution value
  • Develop approved technical proposals using internal and external tools and systems
  • Interface directly with customers in support of sales, operations, and third-party engagements
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform sales and marketing strategies

Process Management and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and business documentation
  • Continuously improve professional knowledge through training, workshops, and meetings
  • Develop reusable documentation to improve proposal development efficiency
  • Contribute to the Bid Management and Knowledge Management repositories

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or an equivalent qualification

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or a similar technical role
  • Three to five years of experience as a solutions specialist within the telecommunications industry
  • Strong technical background with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven experience presenting technical products, advising customers, and resolving technical queries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or within a team
