Information
GIZ opened its office in Dar es Salaam in 1982, adding further to Germany’s international cooperation with Tanzania since 1975. Currently, GIZ Tanzania focal areas of cooperation are health, water/sanitation and biodiversity. Additionally, on the bilateral level GIZ supports the Tanzanian Government strengthen its public finance system through a co-financed Good Financial Governance programme.
