The National Arts Council (BASATA) is a public organization established by the BASATA Act No. 23 of 1984, as amended by Act No. 5 of 2019. History shows that the law to re-establish this Council was enacted by merging the National Arts Council Act of 1974 and the National Music Council (BAMUTA) Act of 1974.
