Mwalimu Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MNUAT), established in 2007, is a dynamic public university located in Butiama, the birthplace of Tanzania’s founding father, Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere. Sitting on a sprawling 573.5-acres main campus approximately 50 km southeast of Musoma, MNUAT also operates satellite centers across the Mara Region, with a burgeoning presence in Tabora Region.
