Role Overview
The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead the company’s sales strategy, market expansion, and brand positioning. The role focuses on developing sales forecasts, managing marketing campaigns, strengthening distribution channels, and ensuring revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to penetrate key markets
- Develop comprehensive sales and distribution strategies
- Manage company digital platforms and marketing content
- Lead the sales team in preparing proposals and customer solutions
- Establish Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Develop guidelines for customer data protection and compliance
- Build strong relationships with partners, buyers, and key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or related field
- MBA or Master’s Degree in marketing/commercial fields is an added advantage
- CIM certification is also an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales
- At least 2 years in a managerial or senior role
- Experience leading sales teams in manufacturing, FMCG, or agro-processing
- Experience developing multi-channel distribution strategies in East Africa
- Experience managing CRM systems

Role Overview
Sales Executives will drive sales performance within assigned zones by promoting KAPL products and maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit existing and potential customers to promote KAPL products
- Ensure product availability and visibility in outlets and distribution points
- Provide product information and respond to customer inquiries
- Deliver product samples and convert leads into sales
- Maintain and update a customer database
- Conduct marketing through calls, emails, and field visits
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Participate in sales meetings and provide zonal market feedback
Minimum Qualifications
Education

Experience

Key Responsibilities
- Promote KAPL products in markets and retail outlets
- Educate customers about product features and benefits
- Distribute samples and promotional materials
- Build strong relationships with traders and community influencers
- Identify new sales leads and market opportunities
- Collect customer feedback and report market observations

Minimum Requirements
Education

Foot Soldiers support product distribution and visibility by actively selling and promoting KAPL products in markets, streets, and trading points.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned markets and routes daily to promote products
- Ensure product availability and proper display in outlets
- Encourage traders to stock and sell KAPL products
- Collect orders and coordinate deliveries with the sales team
- Distribute promotional materials
- Report stock shortages and competitor activities
- Maintain records of visited outlets and sales activities
- Assist in promotional events and campaigns
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Ordinary Level (Form IV)
Experience
- Experience in hawking, trading, promotions, or field sales is an advantage
Skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy in Kiswahili
- Ability to maintain simple sales records
