Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for operating the kiln and raw mill to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant operations within defined process parameters.
You will monitor real-time production activities, make operational adjustments as required, maintain accurate production logs, and collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
The position requires strong technical discipline, accountability, and active participation in daily operational activities to maintain optimal plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor kiln and raw mill systems
- Ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently within set process parameters
- Perform real-time operational adjustments to maintain stability and performance
- Maintain accurate production records and reporting
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations
- Participate in inspections, cleaning activities, special tests, and refractory work
- Respond promptly to operational abnormalities and quality feedback from the laboratory
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, OSHA requirements, and company policies
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering
- Knowledge of kiln and raw mill operations
- At least one year of experience working in a cement plant
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
