Duties and Responsibilities:
The Dental Therapist Grade II will perform all duties carried out by a Clinical Assistant, including diagnosing and treating common illnesses. The role involves supervising subordinate staff and performing minor surgical procedures related to oral health. The officer will participate in planning and implementing Primary Health Care services, advise and mobilize communities to contribute to Community Health Fund services, maintain records of equipment and tools used in service delivery, and prepare and submit implementation reports. The officer will also perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with their education, experience, and professional competence.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from a government-recognized institution and must be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
Remuneration:
Salary scale TGHS B.
