Role Purpose
The Banking Product Manager will be responsible for managing all stages of liability products, including idea generation, design, validation, commercialization, and lifecycle management. The role also involves driving sales, marketing, pricing, revenue assurance, customer experience, and digitization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product development for liability products, from ideation to commercialization in line with bank strategy.
  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives through campaigns, promotions, staff training, competitive analysis, market research, process efficiency, and data-driven opportunity identification.
  • Manage product pricing, profitability, and revenue for assigned liability product lines.
  • Conduct revenue assurance exercises to manage income leakage across all liability products.
  • Optimize customer experience, turnaround times, and develop value propositions tailored to customer needs.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards and performance reports on product revenue and balance sheet contribution.
  • Collect customer feedback through surveys, branches, and frontline teams to inform product improvements.
  • Support digitization initiatives and enhancements to customer journeys.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) of new product features or system upgrades.
  • Document customer journeys, workflows, and process maps for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years banking experience, including at least 1 year in product management or data analytics.
  • Proven track record in development and management of banking/financial services products.
  • Strong knowledge of product marketing principles and financial training.
  • Experience with revenue generation initiatives and project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills for cross-functional team engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, financial management, and budget planning skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel.
