Job Purpose
The Service Provider Relationship Executive will be responsible for managing relationships with medical service providers to ensure efficient service delivery, client satisfaction, and cost control. The role includes visiting admitted clients, collecting service feedback, monitoring provider performance, and supporting effective medical claims and system operations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit and onboard medical service providers while maintaining strong working relationships
Conduct medical claims reconciliation with service providers to minimize company liability
Visit admitted clients in hospitals to assess service satisfaction, patient prognosis, and recommend interventions when required
Negotiate medical service pricing to achieve best financial value for the company
Coordinate and implement system installation for member identification and claims posting across service providers
Monitor, follow up, and resolve system-related issues to ensure maximum system uptime
Train service provider staff on system usage, contractual dos and don’ts, and operational compliance
Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Number of completed system trainings and closed claims reconciliations

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications
Minimum of a Diploma in a health-related field or higher qualification
Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience in medical insurance and provider relations is an added advantage
Knowledge of Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) guidelines related to medical claims and service provider management
Understanding of Britam medical insurance products
