Driver II Job Opportunity at NACTVET

The National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) invites qualified and competent individuals to apply for the position of Driver II. This role is essential in supporting day-to-day transport and logistical operations of the institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointed Driver II will be responsible for the following tasks:

Inspecting the assigned vehicle daily to ensure it is roadworthy
Driving vehicles safely while observing traffic laws and ensuring the safety of passengers, cargo, and the vehicle
Cleaning and maintaining the vehicle regularly
Reporting to the Administration when the vehicle requires major repairs or scheduled maintenance
Keeping and updating the vehicle logbook records
Preparing fuel requisitions for the assigned vehicle

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Holder of Form IV or Form VI Certificate
Possession of a valid Class C or E Driving License
Completion of a Basic Driving Course offered by VETA or any other recognized institution
Additional training certificates relevant to the driving rank
At least one year of proven driving experience without causing any accident

Remuneration:

The successful candidate will be remunerated under salary scale NACTVET 2.
