Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions on records and archives management
Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments aligned with the curriculum
Designing and administering tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects to assess student learning
Grading assessments and providing constructive feedback to support student improvement
Offering academic support, mentoring, and career guidance to students
Conducting research to stay updated on emerging trends in records and archives management systems
Integrating new developments into course content and curriculum
Developing and updating course materials in line with industry and academic standards
Participating in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and administrative activities
Supporting accreditation, quality assurance, and compliance with institutional policies
Managing teaching and learning resources, including registry or simulation environments
Performing any other duties as assigned by the institution

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Records Management and Archives Administration or an equivalent qualification
Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5.0 or an equivalent academic performance
Degree must be obtained from an accredited higher learning institution

Remuneration:

The position offers remuneration under salary scale PTSS 3.1.
