Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will perform the following duties:

Displaying new books and other reading materials
Shelving, filing, and issuing books to library users
Registering library readers and maintaining records
Maintaining backsets of newspapers and journals
Repairing library publications and materials
Assisting users in locating reading materials and retrieving information
Preparing newspaper cuttings relevant to the Board
Handling simple enquiries from library users
Undertaking basic bibliographical searching

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualification requirements:

Holder of a Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Library Services
Certificate must be obtained from a recognized institution
