Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following duties:

Assisting in cataloguing and classifying books and other library materials
Supporting users in literature searching and reference services
Assisting in the selection and ordering of books and information resources
Compiling library statistics and preparing reports
Shelving, filing, and issuing books to library users
Preparing reports related to cataloguing and classification activities
Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualification requirements:

Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Librarianship and Information Sciences or equivalent qualifications
Degree must be obtained from a recognized higher learning institution
