Africom Energies Group is offering an internship opportunity for an Architect (Intern) based in Dar es Salaam. This position is ideal for aspiring architects who want to gain practical experience in architectural design, construction documentation, and site supervision while working alongside experienced professionals on commercial and industrial projects.

The successful intern will support the architectural team in developing design concepts, preparing technical drawings, participating in site inspections, and ensuring that projects comply with building regulations and industry standards. This internship provides valuable exposure to real-world architectural projects and professional design software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing architectural design concepts and presentations.
• Support the development of construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other related design software.
• Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Assist in reviewing building plans for compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Support the architectural team with project documentation, filing, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications Required

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or related architectural design software.
• Strong understanding of building regulations and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in commercial or industrial projects is an added advantage.
